Magical sunrise on the rock
Experience absolute silence, morning mist over the Elbe, and the first rays of sun directly on the wall, when you have the entire ferrata all to yourself. Along the ferrata route, a proper breakfast with a view of Děčín waking up can also await you.

Classic half-day course
An ideal choice for anyone who wants to try via ferrata for the first time or wants to be one hundred percent sure of their technique. Our instructor will teach you the correct methodology and safety, and guide you through routes that exactly match your fitness level.

Families with children
Show your children an adventure they will remember. Our instructors know how to work perfectly with little climbers. We use special additional belaying and adapt the route to the children’s physical fitness.

An exclusive ferrata course focused on conquering challenging overhangs, where prior climbing experience and good physical condition are required. The intensive ascent takes place with a maximum of three people per instructor, and a professional ferrata set is fully at your disposal.

Why do you need a course / instructor?
Although the rock is freely accessible, according to the operating rules, newcomers and beginners must not climb without the supervision of an accredited specialist. We will rent you certified equipment included in the price, teach you the correct belaying technique, and guide you through a route that matches your fitness level.

A proper 4-hour experience (No rush)
With us, you have the instructor all to yourself for the full 4 hours. This gives us enough time for a calm explanation of the methodology, belaying practice on the ground, and the climbing itself at a pace that suits you. Without stress and time pressure, you’ll have time to catch your breath, enjoy the views, take photos, and truly experience the rock.
Accredited instructors and friendly partners
You will be accompanied on the rock exclusively by certified specialists – work-at-height specialists, mountain guides, and rock climbing instructors. They are experienced professionals who have mastered the methodology perfectly. Above all, however, they are partners with a human approach who will support you at every step, give you confidence, and lead you safely to the top.
Complete certified equipment included in the price
You don’t have to worry about anything, look for rental shops, or buy anything extra. The price of each of our courses includes the rental of a complete and one hundred percent safe ferrata set (harness, energy absorber, and helmet). We will correctly set, adjust, and check everything for you on-site.
Note regarding gloves: For hygiene reasons, climbing gloves are not rented. If you don’t have your own, we sell brand new professional gloves directly on-site (we have them with us in the car) for a price starting from 500 CZK / pair.
Small groups and individual approach
We keep the number of climbers (max 5) per instructor at a safe and comfortable level. This allows us to attend to you completely individually, adapt the route and pace to your current fitness, and ensure maximum safety and well-being throughout the duration of the course.

“Via ferrata Pastýřská stěna ranks among the largest and longest in the Czech Republic. It offers 16 different routes of difficulty B-D. There are 4 entry routes. In the middle of the wall, there is a resting place from which you can set off on 3 different routes. One of them is Charles Bridge, which is worth trying. The ferrata is suitable for both children and beginners. You can pay for a guide who will teach you how to use the ferrata equipment. There are several equipment rental shops below the wall. Among the hardest ferratas, I count the routes – Silver Will and Folly of the Mighty.”

Hi, I’m Jirka. Rock climbing and via ferratas have been my life for many years. As an accredited instructor and guide, I make sure that every step on the rock is one hundred percent safe for you, but above all, that you take away an unforgettable experience from Děčín.
I won’t leave you hanging on the ferrata. I’ll help you overcome your initial fear, teach you the correct technique, and show you the most beautiful views of Děčín and the Elbe. Come join me!
